Anjum (Friesland) day 12 - day 14
The small town is located in the North-eastern part of Friesland. It is close to Wadden Sea area and ideal for long walks, bike trips and relaxing. Close by is the historic city of Dokkum which is a must visit when you visit the area.
Day 12
After checking in at Camping ‘It Tún-hûs’ in Anjum it is time to eat something, we recommend pizzeria Uccello. It is located in the city centre of Anjum and is enjoyable for the whole family. The menu consist of vegetarian meals and also has options for children to choose from.
After dinner there is free time in the evening. On the camping it is possible to do some games or make a small campfire.
Day 13
The 13th day starts in the historic city Dokkum. A tourguide will be waiting for you at the Dokkumer museum. During the following 1,5 hour trip through the city showing the highlights of the oldest city in Friesland it is possible to ask questions. During the trip there are also activities planned for children. After the city walk we can understand you would like something to eat. Then we recommend café and restaurant Artisante.
After eating at Artisante the next activity is going to swimming pool Tolhuisbad. Relaxing in swimming pool tolhuisbad is a perfect way to spend a day. The pool has an indoor and outdoor pool. It is possible to eat something during or after swimming but we recommend to not eat to much because on the last night out we recommend going to ‘Het raadsel van de Wadden’. It is a well-known restaurant in the area and uses the best local products.
Day 14
The fourteenth day is the last day of the package. The checkout at camping ‘It Tún-hûs’ has to be before 11.00 o’clock.
